This is definitely how I felt when I started learning Python. It was like going to Hogwarts.
Actually, it still feels that way.
I suppose the Sorting Hat has placed me in House Python.

I feel the same way. There’s something about writing code and seeing it run that gives you a sense of power. And it’s never gone away even after 50 years of being a software developer.
What language do you prefer?
Assembler. But for a higher level language, I prefer C.
