This strip went through a lot of rewrites.
Originally the punches were in the middle 2 panels (in the horizonal version) and the last panel was me drawing this comic and Jack hanging over my shoulder complaining that I’m drawing him getting beat up.
I never felt confident that it was a sufficient enough end, so I made the ‘unexpected twist’ simply that Jack got his ass kicked after all the bravado.
