TODAY’S COMIC: “Purple Haze”

I associate “Purple Haze” with starting a new endeavor. 26 years ago, when I found out I got the job at Williams/Bally/Midway as a video game artist, I was completely freaked-out-happy.  I played this song on my new-fangled CD player and I rocked around my parents’ house like Tom Cruise in celebration (I had pants on, tho).

Now starting “Skitter” gives me that same feeling.  Seems only fitting to reference it in a strip. I should hit play on my new-fangled iPhone…
