This isn’t exactly autobiographical. I’ve never gotten a call from the school about Luna’s lunch.
But there are rules pertaining to what you are allowed to feed your kid at school. The school tells us what we can’t feed our own kid due to nutritional needs, as well as what we can’t feed our kid due to what OTHER kids can’t eat.
Yeah…. OTHER kids.
Food allergies another kid might have restricts what MY kid can eat. That’s bullshit.
Howabout we partition off the kids with food allergies so the majority of kids can enjoy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
As an aside… When I was a kid… ZERO kids had food allergies. It’s worth a scientific study to determine why kids today have ’em.
